What is surface pattern design?
Surface pattern design is the creation of unique artwork that can be applied to any surface - from fabric to wallpaper to home decor and stationery. We see surface pattern design everywhere we look without realising it. Surface pattern design can be both standalone or, more commonly, repeating patterns. Repeating patterns are usually found in wallpaper and fabric or any surface that requires a seamless repeat over the surface.
